3 Weeks to wobble-free pricing
A brand new profit-shaping pricing course for cake makers
Streamed Online 10-31st October.
£150 - Only 50 places available.
Taught by cake experts Phil & Christine Jensen - with their usual practical, friendly approach.
Week 1: Pricing
Feel all at sea with pricing your cakes?
You’ll dig deep to understand three distinct pricing methods. You’ll learn to price cakes so your work is valued and your business can grow, not just survive. You’ll get comfy with using Phil & Christine’s tried and tested pricing tools (The Cake Pricer & Rapid Pricing Grid). You’ll be able to adapt those tools to your own business to use every week when handling enquiries. (Completing the course gives you permanent access to these incredibly useful tools.)
Often this is where cake pricing courses stop. The next two weeks are even more important!
Week 2: Pitching
Keep getting beaten down on price?
Learning how to help customers value your work, and pay the price you’ve calculated is as important as pricing it in the first place. In week 2 you’ll grow the practical skills needed to tackle the money monkeys (the chatter that makes you give in when landing the order). You’ll get to try out a variety of no-nonsense negotiating strategies that will give you the confidence and skills to get the best possible price for your cakes.
Week 3: Prospecting
What if you could find better paying customers?
When Christine & Phil started their cake business their average cake price was £250. When they sold their business in Jan 2022, it was £1750…and they did that living in the 3rd poorest area of the UK!
Week 3 is about finding customers who will pay you better. Christine & Phil will share the hard-won lessons, business strategy and helpful relationships they developed to find customers who could afford cakes that were worth making.

How it all works
The Cake Pricing Course runs online over three weeks (Oct 10th - 31st ).
Classes are streamed each Monday at 8pm GMT/3pm EST and last approximately 90 minutes. If you miss a session, you can play it on catch-up at your convenience.
Every Wednesday Christine & Phil will have a live Q&A based on that week’s topic. It’s a chance to get support, and get to grips with the details. You can ask questions directly or submit them in advance for tried & tested, down to earth perspectives and advice.
The final session will be a community celebration of the steps taken together, and skills used in real life businesses of class participants.
Throughout the course you’ll have access to an exclusive community group to ask questions, share thoughts, and generally be in it together.

THE REAL VERSION
We’ve done a bunch of stuff (which we’re HUGELY grateful for). But the telly and social media is beautifully edited.
We prefer real. No filters.
What you get in the course is us. Not red-carpet ready, no hair and make-up. Just warm, friendly, and practically grounded in a decade of graft and hard-won experience.
Running our cake business has genuinely been an amazing adventure. But, adventures are not always easy. We’d love your journey to be easier than ours.
Long hours, demanding customers and the deep isolation of running our own business. There were some tough moments. Those moments were the catalyst for starting up the Cake Professionals. A place for cake businesses to be supported and to thrive.
